should. Easter is the fulfillment of a promise: God
would send us a Messiah, a Deliverer, a Savior, and He would
be our doorway to salvation. Imagine the excitement of Mary
Magdalene at the doorway of the tomb on that extraordinary
morning. Who among us would have failed to be astonished by
the risen Lord, appearing nearby, resurrected just as He had
promised. Believing in the promise and seeing it fulfilled
would surely strengthen any wavering faith. Remember Thomas when the
truth could no longer be denied. What a celebration on that
original Easter morning!
